Who Is Matt Schmitz?
Like so many FranCoach clients, Matt has spent his career so far working for others. As a distillery operator at a local wine and spirits production company, he enjoyed some aspects of his previous job, but was not particularly passionate about what he was doing. His favorite parts of his work were managing staff and developing new talent – and as Matt began looking for a career change, he knew he wanted an opportunity to take more pride in his work and build a strong financial future for himself.
Why Did Matt Make a Career Change?
After selling some rental properties, Matt wanted to invest his earnings in his own career and create the chance to work for himself on his own terms. He discovered the Franchising 101 Podcast, hosted by FranCoach’s Tim Parmeter, and began to listen his way through the episodes. He quickly realized that franchise ownership would give him the perfect opportunity to build the career of his dreams while benefiting from the proven plan of a seasoned franchisor.
