Who Is Mya Kang?
Mya holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science as well as a master’s degree in business administration. Through her education as well as her robust career in the recruitment and HR industry, Mya is equipped with numerous skills that will serve her well as she transitions from the corporate world into franchise ownership.
She considers her career successes some of her most valuable achievements, and she is proud of her work growing many different offices through recruiting staff. Mya values collaborating with others and enjoys working on teams both large and small.
Why Did Mya Make a Career Change?
While Mya enjoyed making an impact in the corporate world, she began to grow frustrated with the slow pace of decision-making and the hierarchical structures that can often lead to imbalances in the workplace. She wanted an opportunity to make money on her own terms, work for herself, and be her own boss.
Although Mya considered a startup, she did not want to reinvent the wheel and she did not have an idea for “the next big thing” – but she knew that she did have the entrepreneurial spirit needed to be successful working for herself.
