New Franchisee Builds an "Xponential" Legacy

We are excited to announce the newest owner of Body Fit Training: Jay Sutton. A resident of the Indianapolis suburbs, Jay is enthused about the opportunity to build a successful business and grow a legacy opportunity for his children.

Who Is Jay Sutton?

Jay has a rich background in the healthcare industry, holding degrees in public health and health administration. Currently, he is a partner in a medical software company that he built from the ground up – but he knows that one day down the road, he will want to retire from his corporate position.

With that in mind, Jay came to FranCoach looking for a franchise opportunity that would allow for semi-absentee ownership. Jay and his wife, Michele, have two adult children, aged 20 and 24, and they are hoping to pass their franchise on to them one day.

As an entrepreneur himself, Jay had already experienced many of the benefits of owning his own business. He has enjoyed transforming his company from an initial idea into something meaningful and is driven to help the people he works with succeed.

But looking forward, Jay knew that did not want to build another business from scratch. Each studio thrives, offering 50-minute cardio and resistance workouts that are backed by science. BFT is one of the 10 highly recognizable brands owned by Xponential Fitness, a fitness franchise group with other offerings including Pure Barre, Club Pilates, CycleBar, and others.

When Jay came to FranCoach, he was not looking at the fitness space in particular – but given several different options, he was able to use a critical eye and strategic evaluation to determine that BFT offered the best possible partnership for him.
