From Real Estate to Business Coaching: FocalPoint’s Newest Owner

Updated: Sep 6, 2023

We are excited to announce the newest owner of FocalPoint Business Coaching: James Herbert. Drawing from a long career in the world of real estate and mortgages, James is excited to help others that share his entrepreneurial spirit grow businesses of their own.

Who Is James Herbert?

James, who is married and has two adult children, has been working in the real estate sector for years. Even then, he enjoyed coaching and training, helping the people he worked with achieve their own goals while elevating the business as a whole. James is inspired by equipping other people with the skills and tools they need to succeed.

Why Did James Make a Career Change?

When James came to our team at FranCoach, he had already begun looking at a few different franchise options. Initially, he was looking at some home services brands due to his background in real estate. However, like many first-time franchisees, James felt overwhelmed by the sheer number of choices and the vast amount of information out there.

He discovered FranCoach, where he worked with Luke Schulte to find clarity on what he really wanted. James is excited to invest in his financial future, gain control of his time and have more flexibility in his schedule, and be his own boss.

Why Will James Make a Great Franchise Owner?

FranCoach’s Luke Schulte helped James find the franchise that met all of his needs, goals, and expectations. Here’s what Luke has to say about why James will make a great franchise owner:

“The conversations with James were always compelling. I loved working with James because there were so many things we had in common – from volunteer work to his business experience. It was a pleasure to have a conversation with him. There were a few times we were both on road trips, and we spent a lot of the windshield time chatting about the business and the opportunity. James is going to be awesome at this, and FocalPoint is a great fit for him. I am excited to see what his future holds.”

Why Did James Choose FocalPoint?

FocalPoint Business Coaching harnesses the very best of founder Brian Tracy’s entrepreneurial and professional development learnings and strategies. FocalPoint coaches work with business owners, leaders, and their teams to effectively leverage these business-building tools, systems, and methodologies for maximum benefit.

With FocalPoint, James found a brand that immediately resonated with him. He liked the fact that he would have direct control over his business outcomes – he didn’t have to rely on anyone else besides himself and the franchisor, and he would be able to benefit from FocalPoint’s proven business model. FocalPoint offers franchisees the ability to work from anywhere and gives them a simple, easy-to-follow plan.

Plus, James is enthusiastic about working with people to help build and grow their businesses, drawing from his own wealth of experience. Throughout the process, he enjoyed working with FocalPoint’s Coach Recruitment Manager, Craig Sobel. After learning about all that FocalPoint has to offer and building strong connections with the franchisor’s team, James is excited to get started.

Please join our team at FranCoach in congratulating James Herbert and wishing him luck as a new owner of FocalPoint Business Coaching!
